Muradyan Music & Movement
Philosophy
Muradyan Music & Movement is a music enrichment program designed for children 3 months and up.
It is based on music & movement education for beginners through piano/keyboard lessons, creative music theory, ear training, rhythmical activities, games and improvisation.
The program incorporates diversity of methods including Dalcroze eurhythmics, one of the renowned approaches to use the body as a musical instrument.
The goal of Muradyan Music & Movement program is to nurture children’s music comprehension, develop creativity, coordination and aesthetic awareness.
About Lilit
Lilit, the founder of Muradyan Music & Movement, is passionate music & movement teacher and caring mother of a son. Being around children, educating and entertaining them is her passion. Born in a musical family, she knows how important it is to lay the appreciation of music at an early age. Her father Gevorg Muradyan, a prominent conductor who performed worldwide, has a great influence on her dream to continue his musical legacy and share the rich palette of her knowledge and experience with younger generations.
Lilit graduated from Music School after Sayat-Nova (piano) and throughout her education she fell in love with the accordion and ukulele expanding her music knowledge. Her additional education includes Master’s degree in Journalism, which gave her good communications skills. Her musical journey was enriched by Dalcroze eurythmics courses at Kaufman Music Center in New York City.
